University of Western States Assessment Center

The Assessment Center is a 16 room center that allows students to learn and practice clinical skills of history taking, physical examination and communication with other students and standardized patients.

This center is also the location for the Clinical Skills Assessment exam and the Clinical Entrance Assessment exam.

The center houses a clinical simulation management platform called Learning Space. This system allows faculty to record student encounters and allows for students and faculty to review video performances and provide feedback.

The NBCE also uses this space to administer the national boards part IV twice a year.
